NCRS - The Changing Midwest Assessment

When people think about landscape change one of the first things that comes to mind is “urban sprawl.” In order to depict this high profile form of landscape change we mapped change in Population Density, Housing Density, Seasonal Housing Density, Income from Recreation, Income from Wood Products, and Road Density. We also identified the specific concerns that people have about urban sprawl and how they have changed over time.
